| RAF Balderton was located south of Balderton. Today nothing remains, the site having been extensivley mined and bisected by the A1. Aerial views of the site give very little idea about the former airfield layout.
Several miles North of the site, another RAF relic survives in the form of Lightning F2A XN728, although as ever it's future is uncertain. |
